Peavey's engineering team has completely redesigned this new SP™ 5 making it lighter weight and more robust sounding than ever. This two-way full-range enclosure will easily handle 800 watts of program power and peaks up to 1600 watts.
Featuring a 15 inch Scorpion® Plus woofer with field-replaceable basket, the SP™ 5 delivers plenty of bone-crushing bottom end while the exclusive Quadratic Throat Waveguide™ technology dramatically reduces horn distortion offering a much clearer sound that aims sound directly at the audience, not over their heads. Constructed of birch ply with carpet covering, the SP™ 5 is ready for just about any road gig.
