B-52's direct radiating subwoofers are built for the largest of venues, where touring sound performance, immense power handling and thunderous bass is essential. The B-52 18-200SL subwoofer is designed to withstand a tremendous amount of abuse such as amplifier clipping and overpowering, without failure. These subwoofers are mechanically engineered as true "subwoofers" in that they will naturally roll-off at 160 Hz even with a full-range signal. An electronic crossover is recommended.
