AlphaTheta's business began as a division of Pioneer Corporation in 1994 when it released the world’s first commercially available flat-top DJ CD player, the highly-acclaimed CDJ-500. 2024 marks the 9th anniversary since AlphaTheta became independent from Pioneer Corporation, and they are now launching new products bearing the AlphaTheta name - which they feel symbolizes diversity and growth.
