A True Next-Generation Standalone Performance System At the heart of the PRIME 4 G2 is a powerful standalone Engine DJ workflow centered around a responsive 10.1-inch HD multi-touch display. DJs can browse music, manage waveforms, access effects, adjust mixer settings, and control performance features through an intuitive touchscreen interface while maintaining hands-on access to essential controls.
Expressive MPCe Performance Pads One of the most significant upgrades to the PRIME 4 G2 is the introduction of multi-zone MPCe expressive performance pads. These advanced pads provide new ways to trigger Hot Cues, control Stems, manipulate effects, and interact with lighting, giving DJs a more expressive and hands-on approach to live performance.
Combined with onboard Stems rendering and playback, dedicated Instant Acapella and Instrumental controls, Stems pad mode, Stem Level EQ, and Stem effects, the PRIME 4 G2 makes it easier than ever to create mashups, isolate vocals, remove instrumentals, and creatively reshape tracks in real time.
Professional-Grade Jog Wheels & Performance Controls The PRIME 4 G2 further elevates the performance experience with full-size 8-inch high-resolution jog wheels featuring integrated displays for Stem status and cue position information. The larger jog wheels provide a more familiar, professional feel for cueing, scratching, pitch manipulation, and detailed track control, while premium dual-rail channel faders deliver smooth operation designed for demanding performance environments.
A More Powerful Creative FX Workflow Two dynamic internal Main FX modules provide access to more than 25 professional effects with dedicated toggle paddles and convenient Favorite FX buttons. DJs can also take advantage of 10 reactive Touch FX with latch functionality, fader-triggered Fader FX, and four dedicated Sweep FX controlsone for each mixer channelfor fast and creative transitions.
Rather than requiring DJs to navigate through menus during a performance, the PRIME 4 G2 places an expanded collection of creative effects directly at their fingertips for faster, more spontaneous control.
Premium Audio Powered by ESS Sabre DAC Technology Professional audio quality is delivered through premium ESS Sabre HiFi 32-bit digital-to-analog converters, providing clean, detailed sound for demanding professional applications. Combined with balanced XLR Main, Booth, and Zone outputs, the PRIME 4 G2 provides flexible routing options for clubs, mobile events, installations, and multi-room venues.
The independent Zone output features its own Cue button and can play an individual deck or playlist on a separate audio system, making it particularly useful for event DJs who need to provide music in multiple locations.
Integrated DMX Lighting Control For DJs and event professionals who want to incorporate lighting directly into their performances, Engine Lighting powered by SoundSwitch is built into the PRIME 4 G2. A physical DMX output allows compatible lighting fixtures to be controlled directly from the DJ system, helping create synchronized audio and lighting performances without requiring separate lighting control hardware.
Bluetooth, Wi-Fi Streaming & Modern Media Connectivity The PRIME 4 G2 is designed to accommodate today's diverse music sources. Built-in Wi-Fi provides access to supported music streaming services, while the dedicated Bluetooth Deck allows DJs to control and mix audio from compatible smartphones and tabletsideal for guest requests, backup audio, ceremonies, announcements, or unexpected music sources.
Multiple media connections include two USB Type-A ports, two USB Type-C ports, an SD card slot, and an internal hard drive bay for compatible media storage. This extensive connectivity allows DJs to build a highly flexible and self-contained performance setup.
Advanced Mixer Controls & Professional Connectivity The advanced on-screen mixer section provides extensive control over channel input assignment, crossfader assignment and curve, FX routing, microphone routing, and output settings. Two stereo Line/Phono input pairs provide connectivity for external audio sources, while two microphone inputs include 3-band EQ, Echo, Reverb, Talkover, and Anti-Feedback processing. Mic 2 can also be configured as a line input for an instrument or other audio source.
Built for the Future of Hybrid DJ Performance The PRIME 4 G2 is designed to bridge the gap between standalone and software-based DJing. Future OmniSource capability is planned to enable seamless integration between standalone performance and compatible computer-based DJ software platforms, including planned support for Serato, Algoriddim, and VirtualDJ.
