Clean, clear sound from 15" woofer and 1.75" tweeterThe SA1521z 2-way system employs several distinct elements to achieve its amazing accuracy and full, natural sound. High frequencies are produced by a 1.75" neodymium compression driver. The SA1521z employs a 15" low-frequency driver for clean, tight bass. Frequency response for the SA1521z is a remarkably full 44Hz-20kHz.
Unique horn design focuses mids and highsAdditionally, the SA1521z features an optimized horn element that incorporates a low-distortion symmetric phase plug for improved dispersion and very natural mid and high-frequency response. The resulting dispersion pattern provides open, natural sound for the entire audience, even at extreme output levels - giving the 2-way SA1521z loudspeakers a distinct high-definition signature across the range.
500 watts of powerThe new SA1521z loudspeaker offers 400 watts of power to lows and 100 watts to highs for plenty of punch. The completely re-calibrated active electronics, which include precision crossover, level protection and electronic time correction, work in concert with the new neodymium high-frequency drivers to deliver greater accuracy, increased output, and reduced weight. To ensure maximum structural rigidity, the SA1521z features robust cabinets constructed from 18mm Baltic birch plywood and pressure-injected structural resin.
Super-efficient cabinet design by Eastern Acoustic WorksIn addition, the new SA1521z was developed and tuned exclusively by the Eastern Acoustic Works (EAW) engineering team.
