Samson Stereo Voice Channel w/4 Input Mixer

The S-VOX is a sophisticated stereo voice channel including a four-input mixer with analog and digital outputs. It's an elegant front-end device for Hard Disk recording systems. It utilizes superior microphone pre-amps and direct inputs optimized and equalized for guitar and bass. Channels One and Two feature high-quality microphone pre-amps that maintain high signal integrity in this critical stage. 48-Volt phantom power is provided for direct input of condenser mics without the need for external power supplies. A Phase Reversal switch is also provided for advanced two channel miking techniques. Comprehensive channel controls include 3-band EQ with sweep-able mids and an In/Out switch that provides clean and silent toggling between equalized and non-equalized modes.

Channels One and Two also utilize an Optical Compressor with selectable Threshold which provides wide-ranging high quality control of signal dynamics. Convenient insert points are also provided. Two 5-segment LED meters show accurate information of input or output signals so all signal changes can be monitored. Channels Three and Four provide line inputs matched for keyboards or other processors. They can also be used to return a stereo sub mix. All channels feature Volume and Pan controls.

S/PDIF inputs and outputs are provided to digitally connect the S-VOX to your (DAW) Digital Audio Workstation. Rear panel 1/4" TRS balanced mixer outputs are also provided for analog recording. Control Room/Phones analog outputs can also be used to monitor the signal before or after it enters the DAW.
