Echo LAYLA-24-PCMCIA Adapter

Most laptops have one or two PC Card slots for inserting interface cards. These slots interface with the older PCMCIA cards (ISA for laptops) or the newer CardBus cards (PCI for laptops). The laptop will automatically detect which type of card is inserted and configure itself accordingly. These cards are also designated as Type I, II, or III depending on the thickness of the card. Echo's LapTop Adapter is a "Type II" card (5 mm thick) and works as a CardBus card. This offers all of the advantages of Echo's PCI interfaces (high speed, bus mastering, low latency, etc.) along with the portability of laptop computers.
