“Are you telling me that this sucker is nuclear?!” Head to your local grocery store and grab your plutonium. Numark has taken yet another step in the latest technology of DJ controllers…Capacitive Flux, only available on the Numark NS1955.
“When we were discussing a new controller, we really wanted to advance the strip search feature,” says a product developer at Numark. “With Dr. Brown’s flux capacitor, we were able to do just that.” The integrated capacitive flux allows a DJ to go back in time and make musical adjustments. Additionally, they can go into the future and see what lies ahead. Whether it’s a bad mix, floor clearer or just some awful microphone skills, the DJ no longer needs to leave the night with a bad vibe. Right the wrongs, or stop them before they start.
The NS1955 takes all the great features of the famous NS7III and simply integrates the flux capacitor into it. “It’s a little tough to look at the screens with the flux capacitor…fluxing, but it’s truly stepped up my game on my off-nights…which rarely occur,” says DJ Crave of Amplified Entertainment in Reno, Nevada. “Carrying massive cases of weapons-grade plutonium brings me back to the days of carrying vinyl around,” says DJ Dru of Staten Island.
Included with the Numark NS1955 are adamantium XLR and USB cables, designed to withstand the constant decay and burn should the reactor within the flux capacitor fail. “You’re on your own in the off chance it happens, but your cables will be just fine,” says our Numark contacts.
Keep in mind that you need enough plutonium to get there and back. Should you run out, you’ll be stuck with whatever past or future you head to. The Numark NS1955 should be available April 1st, at a street price of $4,001.
